NATHAN GOT A JOB!!!!!

This job will necessitate a move. A big move. Someplace we have never even been yet. Crazy...kinda, I know.  But exciting too.

It's a job in his field of study that will give him great experience! It is full time with benefits!

Any guesses where?

Well my WHOLE family already knows so I'll just post without waiting for any guesses.

Drum roll please......

NORTHERN MICHIGAN!

Yes, right up at the border of Canada on Michigan's Upper Penninsula. See that town right between Lake Huron and Lake Superior - Sault Ste Marie (pronounced /ˌsuː seɪnt məˈriː/), that's where Nathan will work. Not sure what town we will live in yet, but it sounds like it's time to get my passport updated with my married name...and time for Nathan to GET a passport.

Everyone we tell says, "Yea!!!!" and then, " Burrrrrrrrr!!!!!"

Nathan and I are flying there March 3 to look for housing. I fly back March 8 and he stays and starts work on March 9.

Not exactly sure when/how Marley and I and all our stuff are going to join Nathan....but, surely sooner rather than later. ;-)

We are in a whirl wind. We feel so blessed!

We love you all!

Congrats Nate! Though, I'm sad that you'll be out of Utah. I was looking forward to seeing you next time I was at my moms.

Seth and I lived in Kalamazoo, MI for a year and we absolutely loved it! You'll love it too! You'll be living on the U - P (upper peninsula - it is known in MI as the U-P.) The church members were wonderful and you will be much needed in service and callings! MI is known for its fertile ground and has amazing u-pick farms or peach and apple orchards as well as pumpkins, raspberrys and blueberrys. The blueberrys are so delicious! MI is known for their wonderful blueberrys. Michiganders also have an accent, they talk fast and say words like dollar = dal-lar, bobby = babby, car = khahr. You'll just have to hear it to get it down. Michigan is so green and beautiful in the summer! You'll get to swim in the great lakes too! Well, hope that gives you a taste. Oh, yes - you must watch "Somewhere In Time" as it takes place on the U -P on Makinaw Island (spelled wrong, sorry), the movie is clean and also a chick-flick. Anyway, so happy you finally graduated into career life!!!! It's the best feeling ever! Good luck with the very long move! I looked at a map and thought it may be easier/faster for you to drive through Wisconsin rather than up through Michigan. But don't take my word for it - any route will be long and beautiful! Good luck!!!
