Why Farmer Freitas' Wife?
Well, my husband loves to garden and my sister likes to call him Farmer Freitas....so you know what that makes me.
We're livin' it up on the U.P. - that's Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Punkie is 6 and LOVED Kindergarten! Isaboo is 2 and she's a smiley whirl wind. We also call her Busy-Isi. This year we welcomed little Lorenzo to our family.
Life is great!

Sometimes I feel like I can't get my Act together.
Or more specifically, OUR Act.
Here are pictures of my Act.
"They" disappeared into Marley's room for quite some time, one snow day.
They came out all dressed and ready for "school!"
These school girls marched around with purpose and schedules and homework and assignments, all morning.
So much snow and ice has cramped our Act...but not our STYLE!
We've been sick a lot this winter....that's a big reason our Act is out of whack.
But we've had a couple of days...where we looked/seemed like we had our Act together...
Marley loves to dress up and be creative.
I don't know why....but this "outfit" was freakin me out.
Creative, none. the. less.
Below is Cinderella....can you tell how I know?
Her "glass" slippers.
And yes...our house is always a mess. We LIVE here!
(that's what I tell myself)
Or is that a rat's nest?
Or curly Sue?
I did not do this to her.
I just take the pictures.
One snow day we all seemed to be better and doing well, so we cleaned ALL the toys.
Took us almost all day.
Since then I have learned that a lot of toys can and should go in the dishwasher.
Do you like my VERY EXCLUSIVE Imagine Dragons t-shirt. I do!!!!
After cleaning the toys we HAD to do something FUN!
The girls designed their own dresses out of tissue paper.
We started out naked...but it was just too dang cold for that nonsense.
Isi gettin in the way of the fashion shoot.
Now on her bottom shelf....
Doesn't Marley look, simply daarling?
Isi?....what are you doing?
I see. Smuggling crayons in your sleeve....
least of all, YOU.
Mom, I quietly took off my "glass slippers" and quietly moved the chair to the counter.
And I had LOTS of fun with the cinnamon!
It's okay though, I'll clean it all up!
Starting with myself!
And then today....you'd think I don't watch her!!!!
Well, sometimes I fall asleep, and she's still awake lurking about the house.
But I was fully awake and busy doing house work when the cinnamon and salt "incidences" happened.
She's alone for a few minutes...and then....
I gotta take pictures.
Once a mess is a mess, might as well let them entertain themselves for a bit.
