We're livin' it up on the U.P. - that's Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Punkie is 6 and LOVED Kindergarten! Isaboo is 2 and she's a smiley whirl wind. We also call her Busy-Isi. This year we welcomed little Lorenzo to our family.

Life is great!

Let's start this off right!

Isn't good news THE BEST!?!
So here is some GREAT news!

We are expecting #3!
Due: May 13, 2014

PROS:
Adding to our family!
How is this not a huge blessing!
Pregnancy months 6, 7, and 8.
(see CONS for the other months)
Isi will be a big sister!
Marley will be a big sister, again!
We definitely have room in our house for another!
Parents/Grandparents WILL come visit us!!!

CONS:
I hate being pregnant...well, mostly just the first 4-5 months...and then the last month.
Pregnancy sickness is yucky....it's the pits!
Can the Black Pearl handle 3 car seats in the back?
And that whole labor and delivery business.

DEFINITELY more PROS than CONS!
As it should be when it comes to little bundles of joy!

********

Regarding the due date.
I prefer being pregnant during the winter months...though I've never tried summer,
it just sounds awful.
Both our girls are April babies.
Against all his wishes and hopes Nathan is sure #3 will be an April baby too.
I say, "Who cares! So, we have Christmas in December and Birthdays in April.
No big whoop!"

********

Can I just say that being a wife and mother is the coolest!
I AM NOT THE BEST WIFE OR MOTHER....NOT EVEN CLOSE.
But, I love it!
I am so grateful that we have been able to work-it so I can stay home.
It's a juggling act financially and we have to be flexible and sometimes really creative.
Mostly, we feel really really blessed.

********

A natural question after having 2 girls is for people to ask if I think we are having a boy.
Honestly, I have no idea.
When I was pregnant with Isi, I was convinced we were having twins, until our first ultrasound at 20 weeks.
I have no idea...I just really thought....
Honestly, I would love a boy...because who wouldn't love to change things up a bit?
Honestly, a girl would be nice...we have a lot of girl stuff.
Honestly, even though Marley is a mini-Nathan, I think a boy mini-Nathan would be SO adorable too!
(disclaimer: I think both my girls and impending third baby are all equally adorable.)

Honestly, a healthy baby would be marvelous!

Yeah for babies!!! I'm so excited for you guys. I hate that our bodies feel icky but at the same time that it's a good sign that all is going well with the growth of the tiny speck growing and sucking the life out of us :-)

I found your blog through C & B McKell's; I worked with B. in Utah.
Anyway's, I am originally from the Soo (born and raised) any my parents still live there part time. It's an interesting place, but I kind of miss it:-) Let me know if you need any info on Realtors, food, etc...

Becky my sweet friend! I knew you were expecting even a few months ago. My senses told me. :) How happy we are for you. After having had a very sick baby (three months premature) it gives new meaning to "hoping for a healthy baby." Really that's all that matters. Boy or girl will be wonderful. Maybe you'll have twins. :) I picture you being one of the best moms a family could have. I have been inspired time and time again through your blog with your gospel messages and your sweet and strong testimony. Love you so much Becky. Congratulations to you and your sweet family. Take care,
