My Hero

Since Nathan's true and actual career started he has taken the bus the majority of days.

I feel sorry for him because there are scary bus drivers....well, their driving is scary.
And because the bus is stinky and smelly.
Yes, not just stinky...stinky AND smelly

But, it saves us so much money.
So he does it.
My hero.

In the late fall and winter months, it is still dark when he gets to work and it is dark when he leaves to catch the bus after work....
this is what he looks like:

Actually, his giant Sorel boots aren't on yet.
But, you get the idea.

He has to wear that reflective vest because the better part of our small town does not have sidewalks.
The worst part of our small town is populated by crazy, reckless hill-billy drivers.

He also wears it so the bus drivers can actually see him standing at the bus stop.

Today.
Nathan drove to work.
He gets off early and then has the next couple days off for Thanksgiving.

I am SO excited!!!
and
SO very Thankful!!!

You should keep that vest forever as a reminder of how much your husby loves and sacrifices for you. What a great guy!
